PHILOSOPHY
Physical Education is that integral part of the curriculum that, through human movement, concentrates on the development of individuals' maximum physical potential and their related social, emotional, and intellectual growth. The truly physically educated student will have acquired the experience and knowledge to participate in any lifetime activities and a desire to retain the healthy lifestyle through with fitness and exercise. The Units and activities are carefully planned to provide the student with a wide variety of activities and opportunities from which the individual can best meet his or her specific needs and interests. Students will be active and educated in a risk free environment to enable them to participate to their fullest ability. The teacher will act as a guide in the students’ quest to become the most physically educated person they can be. These learned healthy lifestyle habits will help students lead a long, healthy, and happy life after School.
